    Hello,

    One of my websites was in WP Version 4.9.18 and Enfold 4.4.1
    I suddenly lost edit in all pages (avia builder). I still have edit in posts (classic editor)

    I think it is time to upgrade to WP 5.7.2 and Enfold 4.8.3

    Any ideas to resolve or remedy the situation? I cannot afford to lose this live website.

    If you agree that I have to upgrade, what is the right order ? First update Enfold and then WP or vice versa ?

    Hey ChristosP,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Yes, you have to upgrade both WordPress and the theme to the latest version. But before doing so, make sure to create a backup of the current site or a restore point just in case. You may also have to disable the cache and minification plugin temporarily, and toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after doing the update.

    Hello again.

    In my WP 4.9.18 I added the “Update Themes and Plugins from ZIP file” plugin and activated it.

    I then downloaded latest wordpress theme zip file from ThemeForest and tried to add it as a new theme.

    No luck… I get a “link has expired” error message.

    Can you please assist in doing the upgrade ?

    Hi ChristosP,

    Can you try to check the values for PHP time limit and Max input time in Tools > Site Health > Info (tab) > Server.
    Can you try to set it to 240 for both values. You may need assistance from your hosting provider to change it and see if it helps.
