Old version of website shown after running updates

Hi kriesi team,

I just ran some updates and if I look at my website now it is completely mixed up (old logo, old menu bar, old contact information etc). It’s a big mess :(. Siteground helped me out and fixed it.

How can I prevent this in the future?
