Hello, my enfold theme went down recently I am using version 1.9.1 and enfold child theme 1.0. The web dev company that created my site using your theme no longer exists and I cannot get my key or purchase information from them. With that being said, if I were to purchase a new version, would It possibly solve my problems? I have provided a link below to the site in question and it will show the .php error codes.

    Thank you

    Hey spencer cooper,

That is a very old version of the theme and we can’t guarantee that there won’t be any problems if you update, but once you own a license then we can help you out on the support forum. I would recommend that you perform the update on a staging version of the site first before you update the live site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi again,

Since you are already getting problems on the site then I think it would be ok to update the live site directly, the reasons for your problems is likely that the version of the theme you are using not being compatible with the version of WordPress you are running.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hey, thank you for the reply. Would I also have to update the child theme? I did not make this site and don’t really work with child themes. The price for enfold theme is $65?

    Thank you

    Hi,

I don’t think you should have to update the child theme, but it depends on what’s in there since the job of a child theme is to override the parent. A theme license is $59, please read more here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990

    Best regards,
