Hello two new issues since updated theme and wp:
1.) all browsers is see an odd partial hover effect the first time I roll- over the image in the footer. (see screen shot – ). All following hovers work properly. How do I fix so the hover works properly the first time?2.) ie8 and ie9 In the layerslider only the first image is distorted (see screen shot – ) when loading a site for first time. After next slide appears – it corrects itself to display right. How do I get the first image to display correctly?

1. Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:
#footer span.image-overlay.overlay-type-extern { top: 0px !important; }
Cheers!

Any fix for #2 yet?
July 19, 2014 at 2:57 am #293207Hi!
Thank you for the update.
I checked the site on IE8 and 9 a few times, removing cache each refresh. The first slider image is not distorted.

IsmaelJuly 21, 2014 at 10:56 pm #294062Hello,
I have clear cache, reebooted, make changes and I am still seeing the distorted image in slider in ie8 and ie9. It only appears the very first time you open the website. Once the slider goes to the second image the distortion goes away.
I fixed another issue where the layer with button short code was not appearing. (new slide setting it was under “text” moved to “html/video/audio” and the button now appears.
I have attached screen shot of the distorted image.

Have you tried seeing it on a different system? here’s how it looks on my end (Windows 7 / IE8):

Thank you for the screenshot.
I can’t seem to reproduce this issues on my end, maybe because I’m using Windows 8. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to take a look.

IsmaelJuly 30, 2014 at 12:13 am #297456So beyond clearing cache – I also reset the advanced settings in ie – did not use recommended mircosoft settings and disabled addons. I also enabled wp super cache to try and speed up the site load. The site is loading better in ie 8 and 9 now – no more distortion. But it is odd that I had to do that since the old site was working fine with changing anything. Still some minor issues – but I can live with them – these old browsers are a pain!
