Hello – I am experiencing some very odd cache behavior with my test site. When I view my website in an incognito tab (chrome) – I actually get, what seems to be a cached version of the site. I get the updated version after refreshing the page, which I have never seen this happen in an incognito window before.
On mobile incognito (chrome and safari) – I can ONLY see an older version of the home page. Other pages are updated. I cannot get the updated page on mobile after clearing cache on my device and/or refreshing and/or trying a new incognito tab after clearing the cache.
I have also purged the cache in WordPress and disabled since having this issue. I have also disabled all minification and compression. I cannot find any cache clearing options with my Bluehost. I am afraid this is a symptom of a larger issue, but I do not know where to begin to look? Any help is appreciated.

November 9, 2018 at 3:16 pm #1031698Hey jamesedwardcouncill,
You didn’t post any login details so I can’t check the backend, are you still running your caching plugins or are they deactivated?
I have myself stopped trusting incognito mode, sometimes it seems to cache more than the regular browser :/

Thanks for that, though the login details are not working. Also, could you post screenshots of the problems you are seeing on your end please?

Not sure why the site is not reachable for you, but I plan on moving to a permanent URL this week. If you are ok with it – I will follow up with you then if you don’t mind taking a look?
Thanks for all your help.
