Hi,
I’m seeing some odd behavior when editing the contact form.
Every time I edit something in the contact form and save it again, the form will add a subject field to the existing form.
And it always does this after the first field (name) in the form, and also ‘reshuffles’ the order of the rest of the entry fields.
I didn’t realize this until after doing some tweaks/save and ending up with 5 additional empty subject fields in the form.
Enfold 7.1.2 and WP 6.9.1
Any idea what can cause this behavior?

Hey Rob,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (7.1.4) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
After checking the website and Enfold (v. 7.1.3 & 7.1.4), it looks like the ‘Classic Editor’ plugin was interfering with the form?
The site (WP 6.9.1) had this plugin still running for some reason.
It seems the problem was solved by turning the plugin off.
Rob
Hi,
Glad to hear that you found the issue. We do not recommend using the plugin, the theme settings has the Classic Editor option, please use this setting instead.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
No idea why this plugin was installed and activated. Somehow it probably doubles contact form code while both are running.
Cheers!
Rob
Hi,
Thanks for the update, we’ll close this thread for now then. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.
Best regards,
Rikard
