Don’t suppose it has been implemented in the latest realease!

Or do we have to use custom code as such posted on David Walsh’s blog?

There is a great plugin available on WordPress for flip boxes. Lots of flexibility available with the design features. Here’s a link: https://codelights.com/elements/flipbox/
It works great with the Enfold theme.
