jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered
This page generated the following warnings:
https://e7j.a35.myftpupload.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/js/avia_mega_menu.js: jQuery.fn.attr(‘checked’) might use property instead of attribute
Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.
Should I be concerned?
Thanks
B
Hi B,
That warning points to the js files that are dependent of jQuery migrate, which has been removed from WordPress during the major version release (5.5).
What version of Enfold are you using?
If you’re using Enfold 4.7.6.3 then please flush out the cache and clear the browser cache since it’s already been patched.
If it’s Enfold 4.7.6.1 and below then you’ll need to update it to the latest version since it’s using jQuery migrate.
Once you have updated to the latest version of Enfold then you should be able to safely deactivate and remove the jQUery migrate helper plugin.
Best regards,
Nikko
