Trying to make these boxes larger. Learning Div controls, but how would I make these timeline boxes larger at http://www.waterstone-realty.com/sell-your-house. Want the max width wider if possible.
October 2, 2015 at 12:59 am #512491Hey!
I guess what you want is to reduce the space between the boxes, one thing you can try is editing the first column settings to the following – http://screencast.com/t/m7hnxBTN4oA
Cheers!
JosueOctober 2, 2015 at 4:10 am #512506Pretty proud of myself, I am using an html timeline that I can customize better. But I am having 2 problems. There seems to be a header section somewhere in the CSS I can’t seem to get out. Both a Blue and white box that is obviously not there. Can you show me where to remove that? Also the boxes are supposed to go every other side. I found the code for every second box to be on the right, but something is prohibiting it from happening.
October 2, 2015 at 5:09 am #512519Arg. Got some of it to work, but it’s definitely in the CSS main. When I put the html and Csinto Dreamweaver it definitely works out and doesn’t have the weird header, so it must be interfering with something in your CSS.
Again need to get rid of white box and make the timeline boxes go every other.http://www.waterstone-realty.com/wp-content/vertical-timeline/css/style.css
October 2, 2015 at 2:16 pm #512815Hey!
Can you please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make? You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here.
Best regards,
YigitOctober 2, 2015 at 2:33 pm #512832Right screen is my index file. No white box at top and boxes are every other. Left screen shot is in Enfold WordPress. I get a White header box that is sticky to my menu.
Need white header removed in enfold.
Need boxes going every other in enfold.Css located at http://www.waterstone-realty.com/wp-content/vertical-timeline/css/style.css. wouldn’t mind all font data stripped to as something is resizing my fonts on page.
Thanks
October 2, 2015 at 3:44 pm #512876The white space has Something to do with Header. I make it hide and it goes away.

I’m hoping fix that and the every other stagger will kick in. Really need that white space gone.October 3, 2015 at 10:05 pm #513228Hi!
not sure if it will be easily possible and at first you need to turn on custom class on all ALB elements, to give the elements in question a unique CSS class.
We need admin access, to have a deeper look into it. Post login details here as private reply. Let us know when you turned on custom class for all ALB elements.
Cheers!

October 4, 2015 at 5:10 pm #513364Thanks, but didn’t do much. Everything was already named cd- and html was the same. Found the white box fix though.
Are there any more features I can turn on, perhaps a addition that allows a section to point to a specific CSS file like a plugin does? I had the script in the header to add CSS, but that caused problems. I want to point to a custom css just for one section.
October 4, 2015 at 6:12 pm #513373The CSS is right, the HTML is right, but your theme won’t let it work? If you look at the Dreamweaver, I linked to my custom live CSS feed with the same html I have on my site, but for some reason it won’t go every other. I started the thread not really your problem, but coming to find out it isn’t me =P Please help me fix this.
October 4, 2015 at 10:26 pm #513403Hi!
I see that there is a hidden issue behind, related to compatibility of code.
You can contact one of our Customization Contractors, who will help you out with the process.
http://kriesi.at/contact/customizationLet us know if we could do anything else, regarding our theme

BasilisOctober 4, 2015 at 10:29 pm #513406Basalis, That seems to be your go to answer. If you can’t help, please let someone else answer. I don’t’ have one response from you that is helpful or other than “Pay to play”. You aren’t very helpful. My two cents, take it or leave it, Everyone else has been great help.
October 5, 2015 at 12:21 pm #513675Hi,
Can you please check if the timeline CSS gets applied with the default WordPress theme activated? also, it would be easier for you (and us) to deactivate autoptimize while we’re dealing with this.

JosueOctober 5, 2015 at 3:52 pm #513878Thanks for the response. The Custom CSS is in the child theme, so switching it to another theme won’t work by itself. I did however insert it into twenty thirteen on my staging site and it did not switch to every other. So seems it isn’t your theme but WordPress itself.
Twenty thirteen non minify site located at http://waterstone.staging.wpengine.com/sell-your-house. Staging css at http://waterstone.staging.wpengine.com/wp-content/themes/twentythirteen/style.css (hosted on WPengine)
Minify is off on staging.
Could it be something as silly as a ()load function? Seems the js is working, since when it is removed I get no boxes.

October 5, 2015 at 10:45 pm #514071Hm no i don’t think it would be WP, try doing it on a plain HTML to discard.
October 5, 2015 at 10:51 pm #514074Like a plain index page? I did, works no problems. Dreamweaver picture below. There is also a picture at top of thread showing it works with plain html index.html. But it won’t work in WordPress no matter how hard I try.
October 5, 2015 at 10:55 pm #514075Can you upload that plain html and post a link?
October 5, 2015 at 11:03 pm #514078October 5, 2015 at 11:42 pm #514085Hm i was expecting you upload the actual html file so i can make a quick comparison, should be like:
http://www.waterstone-realty.com/timeline.htmlOctober 6, 2015 at 2:58 pm #514391Here is original http://waterstone.staging.wpengine.com/vertical-timeline-example/ (hosted on WPengine)
Thanks.
October 6, 2015 at 10:17 pm #514817I see why is not working, it’s because WP is adding paragraph tags to the comments between blocks, try removing these from the code:
<!-- cd-timeline-block -->
