    Hello – when I receive a comment on my blog I am not receiving an email to let me know. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

    Hey cece101,

    To find out if your installation is able to send emails: please request a new password from the login page to see if you get an email notification about it.

    No I didn’t receive an email when trying to set new password. My website was originally a wordpress.com site using a different theme and it was moved over to wordpress.org and now self hosted. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    You could try following this tutorial: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-wordpress-not-sending-email-issue/. If that doesn’t work then please contact your hosting provider to see if they know why.
