    I have a custom blog layout. I was tweaking some things, but now my custom page is gone, I can’t restore from a previous version, and when I try I get this message:
    Updating failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.
    I have never seen this before, and don’t know what I might have done to trigger this response. The site has been up and running for almost 2 years in Enfold.

    Update: the blog page is now updating, and I’m not getting the error message (no particular reason that I can see). However, my custom layout is not displaying. Instead, I’m getting some kind of a list view.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Is the blog page the one in private? If so then please try to deselect that page as the blog page on the main page of the theme options. You can select the very top option in the list if you don’t want to set another blog page. Your custom design should display after that.

    Hi Rikard (and Team Kriesi),

    Using the top option (multi-author) instead of the custom page option restored the page. I don’t think I understand why, but that’s OK!
