Hi,
I have just purchased the theme to update the current one purchased by our old web designer. However it says
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.0.5)
However the current version is 4.7
How do we update the theme?
Thanks.

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist api.envato.com. They might be blocking it for security reasons.
And disable Wordfence and clear the cache and try to check for the update again.
Best regards,

March 21, 2020 at 3:15 pm #1195082There are no issues getting to that URL. That URL gives the following message
{“error”: “The HTTP method and path you requested is invalid. Please check the API documentation at https://build.envato.com/api/ and ensure that you’re using a valid path with the correct method.”, “reason”: “not-found”}March 21, 2020 at 11:47 pm #1195160Hi,
With version 4.0.5 you will have to update manually via FTP. Envato changed how the license is checked with the newer versions, they no longer use the “API” and now use a “Token”
After you update via FTP you can enter your “Token” and then update from within the theme options for future versions.
The easiest and safest way to update via FTP is to download the newest version from Theme Forest and rename your current theme folder to “enfold-old” via ftp then upload the new “enfold” folder and check that your site is working correctly.
Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” folder to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.
Once you are happy you can delete the “enfold-old” folder via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.Best regards,

Done that and theme all working, thanks.
However the updating still has an issue, see attached image.
Cheers
ChrisMarch 24, 2020 at 12:57 pm #1196358Hi,
Glad you were able to update manually, but it looks like your Envato Token doesn’t have the correct settings, permissions.
Please see the screenshot here. Also note that the Token is only checked every 24 hours after an error, this limit is set by Envato.
So after you set the permissions you may have to wait to see the correct message.Best regards,
