Hello
widgets from woocommerce mostly do not appear in sidebar.
Specially all filter-widgets.
– There are attributes
– there are at least 100 products where attributes are attached
– the widgets have been dropped into the correct sidebar
No access possible – its localhost. Please see video.

August 27, 2018 at 12:08 pm #1002236Hey Maskenzauber,
You can’t use these widgets on single product pages because there’re no (other) products you could filter. The widgets will only work on pages which show an overview of products like the main shop page or product archive pages (product category or product tag pages)
On the official documentation page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/ the woocommerce developers say:
The Filter Products by Price widget allows customers to refine products by price by dragging the sliders within the widget to create a price range based on the products displayed on the page.
To use the widget, drag it to a widget area as you would any other widget. It automatically detects the minimum and maximum prices on the current page to populate the slider.
This widget will only appear on shop, tag, category, etc… pages.
Filter Products by Attribute is a powerful widget that let’s users drill-down through your catalog of products via attributes, effectively helping them find what they’re looking for quickly.
This widget will only appear on shop, tag, category, etc… pages.

DudeAugust 27, 2018 at 1:13 pm #1002261I dragged the widgets now to “sidebar pages” and the result is the same.
please see new video
[video src="https://maskenzauber.com/temp/sidebar-pages.mp4" /]August 27, 2018 at 1:20 pm #1002264the produkt-categories dont have any sidebars.
The shop-overwiew doesnt either.
they are all fullwidth
i dont find any possibilities to define that they should have a sidebarIf these filters can only used in the mentioned places – than the concept of using pages as containers for products is a bit nonsens, isnt it?
August 27, 2018 at 3:12 pm #1002303OK – i found the way to get a sidebar into the default shop-page and the shop-categories.
But this is not satisfying since it seems that there almost no styling options for these.
(or am i wrong?)Or can you confirm that this view can be made with categories?

only the price-filter appears although other filter-widgets are dragged into the sidebar.August 28, 2018 at 3:52 am #1002509Hi,
Those filters will only work for the default shop and product category pages. They’re not going to display on a custom page with products.

IsmaelAugust 28, 2018 at 10:33 pm #1002888meanwhile i know.
With my last post i meant the default shop and product category pages.
“only the price-filter appears on default shop and product category pages although other filter-widgets are dragged into the sidebar.”August 30, 2018 at 9:57 am #1003465Hi,
Please make sure you’ve selected one or more attributes for your products and set up attribute values (screenshot: http://www.clipular.com/c/4668016026189824.png?k=KCXO3BYiwN6EXyQImrULbC6gJj4 ). The attribute filters won’t work if no attributes/values are assigned to products.

Please move your local development website to a live server and post the login credentials. I can’t reproduce the issue on my test servers (local or online) and there’s no obvious reason why the widget doesn’t work.
