    Hi,

    I have embedded a Vimeo video on this page – http://gertjohancoetzee.com/collections/ and it only shows up as a text link. If I click the link the video opens in a lightbox and plays, but I need the placeholder to show or for the video to show and play on the page like the Youtube videos on the same page do.

    Hi, I provided the login details quite some time ago and I haven’t any further response on this. I see that they aren’t showing in this thread so I will try adding them again.

    Hi,

    I get this error message on Vimeo when trying to access the video directly:

    Permission Denied
    Sorry, there is no video here.
    Either it was deleted or it never existed in the first place. Such are the mysteries of the Internet.

    Hi,

    The video is there, but I have set it to only be played on the site it’s embedded on.

    I have also tried making the video public, but it didn’t change the problem. There was still no placeholder.

    Hi!

    please try to activate a default WordPress theme instead and check if it’s working there for you or not and let us know about your results.
