Since updating to 3.3.2, I’m no longer able to update automatically, without using FTP. The updates were working fine until then.
I have version 3.4.1. now
Even when I check manually, there are no updates available. No better luck with the envato tookit plugin.
Any ideas why?

Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/. If that doesn’t work then please try to update manually: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
