    Hello,
    enfold creates no H1 tag on the startpage. You do not see a problem in that?

    Hey gmmediadienste!

    What start page? We don’t create the content on your pages for you. The theme is a skin for WordPress which lets you add in your own content and style it with the tools the theme provides.

    There should be a H1 tag on the startpage/blogpage. Themes normally uses the title from the settings.

    Kriesi used to do that but we received so many complaints about it that it was removed. So now its up to the user to define their own header tags within the content for whatever they feel is best for SEO.

    So on your home page you might have the initial opening statement or call to action text be the main h1 or something like that. You could even omit it as Kriesi has done which has not had any effect on his search ranking.
