    After updating to version 4.6 instead of showing google maps only the message “Maps were disabled by the visitor on this site. Click to open the map in a new window.” is shown. How can we fix that? The visitor didn’t disable anything.

    Same problem with the Maps in my Blog posts!

    1. Cookie Consent Bar – Reappears on every page after accepting
    2. Maps in Blog Post – Maps are disabled by user message

    TEMP FIX: Turning off Cookie consent fixed both…

    3. MailChimp forms – Consent checkbox missing

    TEMP FIX: None

    All seems to be related to the Privacy and Cookie options.

    We’ve validated the problem again. The first time you load the page with cookie conset bar enabled the Google Maps are inactive now. After approval you need a reload to make the maps visible. This is not noticeable with maps on subpages. But we also have maps on the homepage. The idea doesn’t work there.

    In addition, there are often pages with target groups outside the EU. There can be agreement to Cookie use however evenly not for Google Maps. I hope there is a solution to the problem.

    Yep same issue here – annoying – can’t you trigger a page reload after the visitor accepts the cookies and t&c’s ?

    I just installed 4.6.1 but the Google maps problem on the homepage still is not solved. After accepting cookies the page MUST reload to show the map, which it doesn’t do automatically. Very disappointing!

    Quick fix: disable cookie bar in theme option. Then install any free cookie notification wordpress plugin.

    We released 4.6.2 a few hours ago and it should hopefully fix all of your issues, please try updating to that and let us know if it works or not.

    Already updated to 4.6.2. As with 4.6.1 and 4.6.2 the Mailchimp (checkbox) privacy text is still missing. All I get is a checkbox and no text.

    1. I have the same problem. I now use 4.6.2 and the Google map is not displayed again.

    What do I have to do to make it work again?

    2.How can I set up here for the forum an “Avata” or whatever you call it. In the user settings, I can not find it. Would be too easy :-)
