Hi everybody, I’m having an issue with my Custom Posts Types since the latest update to Enfold 3.1.3. As expected, the meta file of the Avia Template Builder has been overwritten by the update, however, even after editing the required slug of my Custom Post Types back into the meta file (as seen on the video that’s shown in your forum), the Avia Layout Builder remains unavailable.
With that being said, I noticed that the Avia Layout Builder is now a standard feature in all Enfold blog posts. That’s awesome; however, after trying to switch my blog posts to a custom layout, I have noticed that my posts no longer provide for comments from users.
Where am I going wrong here?
Does the update to Enfold 3.1.3. essentially render my Types Custom Post Types obsolete?
If that’s the case, how do I go about enabling comments from users under the standard posts that were created using the Avia Layout Builder?
Many thanks for any pointers.
Hi MadRhino!
The layout builder is for users who need complete control over how their posts display. If you want the post to display with title, meta info, comments, etc etc, then you’ll want to use the default editor instead.
We also have a “comments” element you can use in the layout builder as well.
Best regards,
Elliott
