    Last week I found out that I have missed some updates of the Enfold theme and I found out that this site apparently never worked with a child theme. If I now update this, then I will lose all the adjustments? Do you know how I can prevent that? Is it an option to make a child theme afterwards and then start the update? Hope to hear from you!

    Yes, unfortunately you will loose any changes you might have done, if not have been used from started.

    Hi dorisb123,

    You need to go to the theme options and export them, then switch to the child theme and import the options there. If you have changes in the theme files, you need to copy all those files to the child theme.

    Can you tell us a bit more what customizations you have?
