    hi

    i have used Enfold before and have always had the ability to edit the properties of a column or columns when using the advanced layout editor

    i have set up a new site with latest release of WordPress and Enfold and imported content using the ‘Small Business – Flat Demo’ content

    it all looks fine but i cann;t edit the colums – is this part of the import – even with new pages created i don;t have the edit feature

    i see the this type thing for column size < 3/4 > – and then the little page icon for cloning a column (which works) but after that there is nothing there – in my other enfold site i see an edit icon which comes up as ‘Edit Cell’ when i hover over it – i have also noticed that the site with the edit feature also has a ‘save element as template’ feature which is also absent on the new site. that’s not a feature i suse but it may be of use in helping identyfing issue.

    any ideas what the problem might be or and how i can fix it?

    Those features should still be there. Could you please try deactivating all plugins and go to edit the columns again. Also let me know if you are using any custom code.

    If the above does not work, please provide a link and login details to your site, so that we can have a closer look. You can place the information in the Private Content section of your reply.

    thanks for getting back to me.

    all plugins have been decativated but the edit issue is still there. i have created an admin user for you to have a look. details in private.

    Looking at the theme version and it is saying you are using version 3.1.3. The latest version is 3.5.1. Please follow these instructions to upgrade http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    hi jordan,

    i have upgraded but now the advanced layout editor is not showing at all – are you able to take a look. thanks

    also – the upgrade seemd to delete my footer and a custom menu – is there a quick way to get these back – if not it’s OK – i can recreate them.

    The builder is loading fine on my end, please try to clear your browser cache and reload a few times or try a different browser and/or machine.
