Hi,
I recently installed the NextGen Gallery plugin on my site and after activating the dashboard and site went blank (no error messages). Because that was the only recent change made I figured it must have been a compatibility issue with NextGen and Enfold, so I went into the site via FTP and removed the individual NextGen Gallery Plugin. After removing the plugin the site and dashboard were viewable and everything seemed normal, however I soon realized that all of the settings available via “Enfold” theme options and even editing the site using WP customizer were broken. No changes made in either of these areas will save at all and in the “Enfold” theme options when changes are attempted a message pops up that says “Saving didnt work!
Please reload the page and try again”
However, when the page is reloaded and I try saving again I get the same message over and over. Can you please help me with this issue?
Thank you.
Hey Gabriela!
Should work now, i increased the memory limit in wp-config.php.

Josue
You my friend are a lifesaver! Thanks so much for the quick reply and help with this!
A side question to this same issue…do you think NextGen Gallery Plugin will work now that the memory limit has increased? I read some documentation that there shouldn’t be any issues with Enfold and NextGen together, could it have been that the memory limit was causing issues for the two on my site? Do you think I should try the plugin again or not? Thanks!
Hi!
Yes if you need it you should try it again, there is no known compatibility issue with Enfold, if something unexpected happens it is probably because of a server thing (like memory limit).
Best regards,
Josue
