    Hi there,

    I am using NextGen Gallery with Enfold, and it seems to work decently. But – the NextGen gallery is added in the default editor and is a very inflexible element. When I added a gallery in default and switch to Advanced Layout Editor, it doesn’t seem to recognise the element. It becomes a “image can’t display” icon that can’t be moved into avia elements. This means I can’t put it in a color section or similar to create a decent layout and style the page.

    As I see from other posts, NextGen is quite compatible with Enfold, so I wonder how one should go about working with the two, when the NextGen element is so inflexible. What am I missing?

    Also, is there any plan to add it as a “plugin addition”?

    Hope the question makes sense.

    Hey Emilvillumsen!

    If it has a shortcode version then you can add it to a codeblock element. If not then you will need to use the default editor.

    I don’t think we have any plans on integrating NextGen into the layout builder. Consider creating a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/.
