    Hello!

I created a newsletter pop-up modal with rapidmail and want to implement it on the website. I got javascript codes to activate whether a button or to set it directly on the page. I ought to set the javascript codes (you find them in the private area) above the respective html head tag.

Threads about this issue here in the forums are telling about the code block which didn’t work out because it won’t let me enter strings with < >. What can I do?

I would like to use an Icon made by myself to open the newsletter modal. How can I do that?

    Thank you for your help,
    Verena

    Hello

I looked this one up https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-javascript-to-enfold/ and I added the code (with my newsletter javascript of course) to the functions.php but I dont know how to activate the pop up after I added it.

    Please help! :-) THX

    Hi Verena,

I adjusted the code in your functions.php file so the code is added to head section. I wanted to test on a private page however I was not able to create page, I keep getting “you appear offline” message.

Could you please test it? :)

    Best regards,

    Hello again Yigit,

thanks I checked the code and I adjusted it to the actual one which I add to the private area. This one is the one for the general pop up modal (I guess this should open up when opening the homepage).
There is also another one which ought to be added to the head tag section as well but comes together with another code for the button to activate it. These two codes I add also in the private area.

I would like to use the second one and activate the pop up by clicking either a button or the word “Newsletter” in the footer section. Is this possible and how can I do that?
    Thank you so much
    Regards,
    Verena

    Hi Verena,

Sorry for the late reply. Could you post admin WordPress login details in private, so that we can have a closer look please? Also please try reaching out to the authors of the code you are trying to use, to see if they can help you out. Our support is limited when it comes to third party code.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

of course, you find the details in the private area.

I think that the codes do not have any problem I just don’t know how to activate the pop-up modal whether immediately when loading the page nor by clicking a button. I guess that every newsletter pop up works with java script codes… I just don’t how and where to add them in enfold child theme in order to make them work.

I added already a code in function php and Yigit helped me by changing the footer to header. But then something didn’t work out and I don’t know what.

Thank for your help and the review of my site
