    If one has changed the newsletter fields in Enfold, and have forgotten “re-validate your API key”,
    – then in the meantime, there has been subscribers not receiving confirmation – what happens with these e-mails?

    Because the problem is that they are not in the mailchimp system, – and it is not possible try again with an e-mail we know has not been registered, because then this message appears:
    “This email address is already subscribed, thank you!”
    Although it is not in the list of audience in Mailchimp…

    Is it possible to solve this in any way?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    This is way beyond the capability of the newsletter option in the theme. You have to find a tool that lists all addresses with pending status and resend the confirmation or delete them. Unfortunately, we don’t know of any tool or plugin that does this. You have to contact the Mailchimp support team for more info.
