I have about 12 sites (newly built) that we have registered tokens for, verified them and they should be finding new updates but they are not. They are at 4.8.7.1. As a test I manually updated one to 4.9 and it still did not find the new version. What would cause this? I am sure I have the token registered properly and being verified. This is just happening on our newer sites not the older ones.
Hey renita01,
Thank you for the inquiry.
This might be server-related or a cache issue. Disabling the cache plugin and removing old database transients might help but it is not guaranteed. You can use the following plugin to remove the database transients.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/delete-expired-transients/
You can find more info in this link.
// https://mainwp.com/how-to-delete-all-transients-in-your-sites-database/
After doing the steps above, try to refresh the page and check for updates again.
Best regards,
Ismael
I used wp-optimize to remove transients. I do not have a secondary cache plugin on the two sites that I tested this on. I disabled the enfold performance compression. opened the site in a new browser to ensure it all cleared. I am still having the same issue on both sites I tested, I did not try any others.
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Are you running any security plugins? If so, they might be blocking the traffic. You could also try to install and configure this plugin, to see if it works better: https://envato.com/market-plugin/
