Just updated and i get this
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/retrofrocks/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php on line 130
November 17, 2015 at 5:39 pm #537483I had the same issue, as temp solution I’ve commented line #130 and #145 http://puu.sh/loRp8/5dd032dace.png in html-helper.class.php and my site again online.
November 17, 2015 at 5:39 pm #537485Same thing:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/skinc/domains/skinc.hekko24.pl/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php on line 130
November 17, 2015 at 5:45 pm #537496Same error in here, I had to comment lines #130 and #145.
But this is just a temporary solution.
So?November 17, 2015 at 5:45 pm #537497November 17, 2015 at 5:54 pm #537519thanks, help your self and do what you need to do
November 17, 2015 at 6:33 pm #537552Hi!
We have reported the issue to our devs and they were able to address the issue. It happens on older PHP versions. We are releasing a new update within few hours.
If your case is urgent, please refer to this workaround for now – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/new-update-crash/#post-537483Best regards,
YigitNovember 17, 2015 at 6:37 pm #537556Same Boat! Can anyone even log into WordPress to look at the code?
November 17, 2015 at 6:44 pm #537559Hey!
You can go to wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php via FTP and make the changes. New update is waiting for Themeforest’s approval
Cheers!
YigitNovember 17, 2015 at 6:46 pm #537561But I can’t log into wordpress.
November 17, 2015 at 6:46 pm #537562Hey guys!
Found the problem. It is cause by servers running older php versions like 5.2.x
I have just uploaded an update to themeforest that will fix the issue. We are just waiting for approval by the themeforest team.Meanwhile if you want you can replace the code in the file enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class with this one and it should fix the error: http://pasted.co/2c4788b8 (you would of course need to use a FTP tool for that)
Cheers!
KriesiPS: an easy and smart alternative would probably be to tell your hosting provider to update your servers php version to a more recent one. The one you are running was released in 2006, almost 10 years ago ;)
November 17, 2015 at 6:57 pm #537579Will try and get the php updated. Thanks for a swift fix.
Kind regards
AK
November 17, 2015 at 7:26 pm #537593I’m running on 5.3.28 (which is from 2013) and experience the crash.
November 17, 2015 at 7:35 pm #537599Hey!
update has been approved on themeforest. I am afraid you will need to do an ftp update to the latest version or at least apply the manual fix above to be able to access the backend properly.
Cheers!
KriesiNovember 17, 2015 at 7:45 pm #537603Hi Yigit
