Hi
I want to move away from my one-page website (http://yvesfrateur.be) and give the website content an update
First things first: creating other pages. I’ve created multiple new pages, but they don’t appear.http://yvesfrateur.be/testingnewpage/
-> 404 Not Found: The requested URL /testingnewpage/ was not found on this serverI found some forum threads that suggested to flush the permalinks settings. This however didn’t to the trick for me.
Can someone please advice me what I should do?Thanks!

Your site seems to be down unfortunately, could you check and get it back up again?

March 26, 2017 at 7:27 am #766837Hi,
Thanks for that. First off, please try updating the theme to the latest version (4.0.3) to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
If not then please try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict.

RikardApril 5, 2017 at 8:38 pm #772825Hi Rikard
I updated the theme and disabled all plugins.
The error persists.I noticed that only the Frontpage remains functional.
All other pages – old & new – show the 404 error when I try to visit them. What do you recommend?
Warm regards
Yves

April 5, 2017 at 11:17 pm #772882Hi,
Can you give us ftp access? I have checked it and it seems like it’s working if the permalink is set to Plain, however it doesn’t when other option are used.

You can find the credentials in the private content section.
Looking forward to your solution.
Warm regards
YvesApril 7, 2017 at 8:02 am #773748Hi,
Thanks for that, first off though, did you try removing the permalink structure setting on the page in private?

RikardApril 7, 2017 at 10:14 am #773821Hi,
Thanks for providing ftp access, this is fixed. :) I have added this at the bottom of your .htaccess file:
# BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress Options -Indexes
Not sure though why it’s not adding when you are trying to refresh the permalinks.

RikardNovember 20, 2018 at 8:58 pm #1035783I have also been having this issue on a few sites after updating to Enfold 4.5, working on fixing it but it seems to be caused after setting the Home Page as the default 404 Page under the Enfold settings. It then blocks any other pages including the default 404 page from showing up even after the option if un-selected inside Theme Options.
Resetting of the permalinks has been the only solution I have found, but there is an error in this function of the theme.
Have to change permalinks structure in WP Settings then clear all cache, change them back and clear all cache again.Jon
November 26, 2018 at 5:42 am #1037522Hi millertimesites,
Please do as Rikard mentioned, to open a new thread and include admin login details in private.
Then also put a link to this thread so we can reference to it.Best regards,
