new loop page

hey, is it possible to use my own loop-page.php? I’m using the Plugin Sportspress. The Problem, the Plugin use the features images for the player images.

I can use my own templates with the Plugin. All what i have to do is to insert a folder names “sportpress”. Inside thi folder i have a couple of templates like

single-player.php
single-team.php
single-event.php

Inside from all this php file should be a copy from the page.php from enfold. This load the loop-page.php. So now my idea is… If i have a own loop-page.php, i can delete or disable the post-thumb.

Is it possible to have a own loop-page? And if it yes… What i have to do?
