Hi, years ago, a developer built my website. They are no longer on my team and as such I could never update my website. I am currently using theme version 4.2 which cannot be updated. I love my website and am willing to buy a new license. Because I am a beginner, would it be straightforward to update from version 4.2 to your current 5.6.8 once I purchase? Please advise. Thank you so much.

Thank you for the inquiry.
Since version 4.2, significant changes have been made, so you may encounter a few errors when updating to the latest theme version. We strongly recommend creating a backup of your site before performing the update so that you can revert back if necessary. Better yet, you could clone the site to a subdomain, update the theme there, address any errors, and then move the updated version to the live site.
