Need direction on creating a template to display a custom taxonomy term listings

We have setup a locations taxonomy for our posts that include terms such as Hawaii, Tokyo, California, etc. I’m looking to create a template that will list out all of the terms in alphabetical order with a photo (6 columns across). How would I go about doing this? I know that it can’t be done using the page editor in Enfold and I’ll need to create a template using the child theme, but I’m not sure which template needs to be created and how to go about doing it.
