Need a plan of action for entering videos

Hello,

I’m a bit of a novice with WP and need a little direction. I’m building a training site and would like to display a bunch of Vimeo videos with the title, a short description, and maybe some other info like the video rating. I’ll be purchasing a plugin that will allow me to sort the videos via tags, categories, custom fields, and such. But I’m a bit confused on where to start.

Would I enter the videos as posts or as a portfolio item? Or would I be better off using WooCommerce to list the videos.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
