After updating the WP version and theme, the menu no longer shows at the top of the page; now it shows as a list in the middle of the page. I can select different placements for the logo and menu, but all selections show a list down the page. When I inspect it, 3 error, the last is resource is not found, 404 error. I think this is because the WP version, theme and child were all quite out of date; our origional developer has not been available for a long time
Hey WWFY,
It looks like your site is down unfortunately, could you try to get it back up again so that we can have a look please?
Best regards,
Rikard
it’s up, in a mutant form
The site has been restored to it’s pre theme update form, I think I need to try updating the theme incrementally, as both the theme and the WP are about 3 years out of date. Can you provide me with older versions of the theme?
For context, we are using a child theme with many customizations; after updating the parent theme I lost the menus, so I requested a restore
Hey!
We have not done any modifications to the theme, related to the menu, I checked the change log
The issue there must be something else.
If you switch back to main theme after the update, does everything work fine?
Regards,
Basilis
Thank you; but no after updating the theme, neither the main or child theme retained the custom menus/nav built in the child theme pre-update
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, would you be able to recreate the menu?
Best regards,
Rikard
I wouldn’t be able to
Hi WWFY,
Do you still need help with this issue? I looked at the website and the menus do not seem to have any more problems.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
