Hi,
I’ve placed some colorsections with anchors and triggered them with the navigation and with a submenu. This works fine on the page itself with the submenu. But when i click on the homepage navigation it jumps to a wrong position.
• I’ve deleting all custom css – same thing happens
• Put a code block above with anchor – no solutionAny ideas?
Thanks in advance

JosueJune 8, 2015 at 10:11 pm #456355Hello Josue,
I’m working on the same site as herrbirk.
It still doesn’t work. You can see that the page starts beneath the topmenu and the submenu.
Because that menu is a bit transparant, you can see the beginning of the special header,
so basicly it works, but not for the best customer expirience:)This is how it works right now:
http://nl.tinypic.com/r/zsr03t/8This is how it works when I am already on the page. Than it works perfect:
It need to be like this:
http://nl.tinypic.com/r/2jbqoth/8Only it also has to be this way straight from the homepage when I click on the menu-option
and not just when we are already on the page.Greets Jeen
June 12, 2015 at 8:11 am #458231Hey!
Where can we see the actual page? Did you use the color section element to create a page division?
Cheers!
IsmaelJune 12, 2015 at 10:04 am #458270Hello Ismael,
This is the site:
If you hit ‘Het Huis’ and then the subitem ‘Tarieven’ you can see the navigation not working correct.
We used a color section!

June 13, 2015 at 10:44 am #458728Hey!
The submenu element covers up the section title. Did you modify anything on the theme files, specifically the submenu element? It should be positioned below the layer slider according to the html markup but it is located beneath the header.
Cheers!
IsmaelJune 13, 2015 at 12:45 pm #458745Hello Ismael,
We didn’t alter any code. We have a CSS file, but when I disable it, everything stays the same (the problem still remains).
I will show you a video so I can explain better what happens:Greets Jeen
June 19, 2015 at 3:47 pm #462000Hey!
It’s working fine on my end. Note that you have two sections with ID “tarieven” so it will always go to the first one. It’s not proper HTML to have multiple elements with the same IDs so be sure to change that.

ElliottJune 21, 2015 at 9:36 pm #462399Hello Elliot,
Have you seen the video I’ve send you?
It’s the same site and you can see that there is still an issue. You say it works on your end. Is that right from the start, so the first time you click in the menu or the second time,
if you are already on the page. I’ve tried with multiple browsers and nothing seems to work. Please look at the video because I think my problem is still there.

June 22, 2015 at 2:56 pm #462811Hey!
I see now. I couldn’t reproduce it on my XAMPP setup though. Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
3. Activate Enfold instead of the child theme.
If your still having problems then try creating two new pages and add some sample sub menu elements and color section elements there and try to recreate the problem for us.

ElliottJune 22, 2015 at 3:18 pm #462825Hello Elliot,
On the same site: http://nivon.groeier.nl i’ve deleted the theme and re-installed a fresh copy from themeforest.
First I tried to go to the menu ‘Het huis’ and then the submenu ‘Tarieven’.
The problem still occurs. So I made a new page ‘Kriesi’ with three content sections.
I also made a submenu on that page and I made a menu item with three submenus.
You can see it in the mainmenu of the site.On this new page the problem is gone. Can you tell me why, because I don’t understand why the problem is gone with the new page i’ve made.

June 23, 2015 at 1:26 pm #463332Hey!
Now copy over the content from your previous page to this one, piece by piece, to see if any of them are causing the problem.
Not sure what it could be. Still can’t reproduce it on my end.
Cheers!
ElliottJune 25, 2015 at 4:31 pm #464604Hello Elliott,
I found out why it won’t work on http://nivon.groeier.nl/het-huis/
but it does work on http://nivon.groeier.nl/kriesi/In the page ‘het-huis’ we have a layer-slider present. When I delete that slider everything works perfect.
So the layer-slider is the problem, but I don’t know why and how to solve this.
Clearly i don’t want to delete the layer slider:)Gr. Jeen
June 29, 2015 at 4:11 pm #465912Hi!
Is there anything special your doing with that specific LayerSlider? What happens when you switch it out with one of the default sliders?
Regards,
ElliottJune 29, 2015 at 7:05 pm #466018Hello Elliot,
Nothing special I think.
If I put the normal layer slider in the page everything works correct.I have a few code blocks within the layers but when I delete those layers everything stays the same (so it doesn’t work).
So I don’t think it’s the layers. I looked at the settings of the layer but there almost the same.
I haven’t got any idea what to do next:) Really strange behavery.Greets Jeen
June 30, 2015 at 3:04 pm #466486Hi!
Still haven’t been able to reproduce it on my end. It must be something to do with your LayerSlider. I would try creating a new one and then keep checking your page after each edit to try and pinpoint what’s going on.
Cheers!
