    Hi all,

When I go to WordPress / settings / General, I add my tagline “Transcribing energy into art forms”.

However when I go to my home page and save the page in my browser by adding a bookmark, it reads “Home – Gregory Beylerian”.

What do I change so my Tagline reads correctly there?

Thanks for any insight into this.

    Example: https://www.gregorybeylerian.com

    Hey gb,

Does the same thing happen if you change to a default WordPress theme? Maybe you have set the text in question in an SEO plugin?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hmm, I am using the Yoast SEO plugin for this site. Could that be the culprit?

Been using that plugin for years, always wondered if its worth keep – opinions, solutions?

    Hi,

Yoast SEO is a great plugin, and I don’t know of any conflicts with the theme. Did you check if maybe you have set the data in question in the Yoast SEO options on the actual page?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Sorry for my NUBE ignorance, I was not able to see where in the Yoast SEO plugin one sets the data for the home page tag line?

on Settingspage of Yoast SEO you can set it for the whole site

    – or even better do it on each page separately.
Open your homepage in editor mode – below the Layout there will be for each page/post a yoast seo section ( if not see on top of that window there is a slide out (screen options) click – there you can mark “Yoast SEO”
there you can insert a SEO Title and a meta description

    Hi Guenni,

I actually had already double checked those areas of the Yoast plugin and they have the correct words but when I click to save the homepage to the browser, install says “Home- Gregory Beylerian

I purged cache and the updated writing was added yesterday yet it still reads incorrectly.

I am wondering where else Yoast may be altering how this info is read because I am not having this issue on an other Enfold site which does not have Yoast plugin.

I’m afraid then you’ll have to allow one of the mods here access to your wordpress.
You can leave the access data in the private content field.
