I installed the enfold theme on my current wordpress site, activated it and then my site vanished. I cannot load it, nor can I login to it anymore. I get an error 500.

How do I recover my site?? What went wrong??

    Hey bureauetkomma,
Please login via ftp and rename the theme folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ to “enfold-old” WordPress will load one of the default themes, such as twentyseventeen so you can login.
Then you should check your server PHP setting to ensure you have these minimum settings:
    PHP Version: 5.6
    PHP Time Limit: No limit
    PHP Memory Limit: 256M
    PHP Post Max Size: 50M
    PHP Max Upload Size: 20M

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi again
Apparently – renaming the theme folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ to “enfold-old” – did not fix the problem. I’m still unable to load my site. When trying to open the URL – I still get a white screen and the site is unable to load. Try to load the following URL http://www.havetilbord.dk !!
And again I did not do anything but installing the theme as usual. And when activating – the site disappeared. I’ve tried to launch other themes before without having any problems.

    Hey,

Please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it :)

    Hi
It appeared that my WordPress installation did not have the required level. Once my hosting company brought my wordpress up2date I could access the site agian. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi,
Glad to hear that it is resolved. We will close this now. Thank you for using Enfold.

    Best regards,
    Mike
