    Hi,
    I’ve created custom post types as well as custom taxonomies to these post types (using the plugin Types). But when I go to edit a page and add the Blog Posts element in the Advanced Layout Builder, choose ‘Display entries from a custom taxonomy’, the taxonomies are not there in the list.. What am I doing wrong?

    I’ve tried added this to the functions.php file:
    add_theme_support(‘add_avia_builder_post_type_option’);

    which adds a box where you can choose custom post types, in the Blog Posts element, but even there, my custom post types are not showing up.

    I can’t figure out what it is that I’m doing wrong. I really need this to work! Please help :)

    Unfortunately I only have my site local on my computer..

    Hey sophilias!

    does this happen when you deactivate all your plugins, too? will be very difficult for us to debug it, when we can’t have access to your live site. Make sure to use newest theme and WordPress version.

    Cheers!

    Hey,
    Now I’ve tried it with only having the Types plugin activated, still same result. Not even the portfolio taxonomy is displayed, which I’ve read should appear there by default.

    I have the latest theme update and WordPress version.

    I know it’s difficult to debug without access to the site, but I don’t know how easy it would be for you to debug it anyway since I have the swedish WordPress version.

    Do you think it might have to do with the Types plugin, rather than the Enfold theme? Maybe I should try another plugin for creating custom post types and taxonomies. If so, do you have any recommendation for a plugin that does that and works well with the Enfold theme?

    Ok, scratch the portfolio taxonomy part of my last comment. Apparently you had to have a category set up before it will show.

    Haha, I just figured it out! Same as my previous comment with the portfolio category, I needed to add at least one tag or category in the taxonomy for it to show up in the list. I feel a bit stupid now, but happy. Mostly happy :)
