Hello,
I’ve noticed on Mac Firefox 30.0, Safari 7.0.5 and Chrome 35.0 that a link has to be clicked twice to load. Upon the first click, it looks like the page is loading and lagging, but if you click again on the same link again immediately, it loads the cached version instantly.
Why is it necessary to click twice?
I have W3TotalCache and use MaxCDN to serve content.
Thank you,
Holly
Hi Holly!
I could note a brief lagging the first time i loaded the website, but after a few seconds the page does load quite fast:

Hi Josue,
Here’s a better example of what I’m trying to explain:

When I click “About FMITK”, there is a lag, but once I click again it loads properly. The same goes for any other link that hasn’t been visited previously.
Thank you!!
Holly
Hello,
Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?
Regards,
Josue
It looks like it’s the W3 Total Cache plugin causing the problem. With W3TC disabled, links are slower to load but there’s no difference on if it’s clicked twice or not. With W3TC enabled, pages load faster but you have to double click to see that.
Could this be a conflict between the plugin and the theme? Any suggestions?
Thank you again!!!
Try tweaking the plugin settings or purging the cache. Enfold can work with W3TC as far as i know.

Josue
