I have created a website for a client and he is uploading quite a few images, but unfortunately each images he uploads is generated in different sizes and several of them are larger than the original image uploaded.
I have seen other posts which suggest using Simple Image Sizes Plugin but that is only tested up to WordPress 4.9.
Is there another solution you can recommend, which does not require any coding?.

Hey Ivana,
Try this:
Login To Your WP Dashboard.
Go to Settings and then, Media.
Here you will find 3 various image sizes: thumbnail, medium, large. Decide which image sizes you won’t be using and then set those sizes to 0.
Update and save your new settings.
By adding 0 to unwanted sizes that should prevent those from generating.
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
How about the other 17 image sizes Enfold generates for every uploaded image?
Thanks.
