Hi
I have been looking at ways to improve SEO ranking.
My website is ranking poorly for some very low competition key word phrases – despite pages being loaded with them.
One thing that I have noticed is that with Yoast and a number of other SEO checking tools, there appears to be multiple H1 tags in use – even though i have only used one. In fact they tool shows that there are a number of empty H1 headings (see private content).
I have seen a number of people report this problem, but can’t find a solution.
Thanks
Faye

You can easily check that yourself by inspecting the code in your browser. Here’s what I found on the page you linked to:
1. OMNI CHANNEL API – is one h1 tag
2. FOR MASS NOTIFICATION SOLUTIONS – is a second h1 tag
3. Empty h1 before “Omni channel has become a point of differentiation”
4. Empty h1 before “What is meant by omni channel?”
5. Empty h1 before “Omni channel and mass notification”
6. Empty h1 before “Seamless omni channel alert API”
Please check the content on the page in question, and make the necessary changes.
Best regards,

Thank you – I have been able to find all but one of the empty H1 tags. One is still being picked up by the tool i use. Any ideas?
Kind regards
Faye
March 2, 2021 at 12:10 pm #1284679Hey,
It seems like you have an empty H1 tag inside a Text Block element. Please edit your Text Block element, click on Text tab and remove empty H1 tags.
Please see private content field below for more info :)

March 2, 2021 at 7:48 pm #1284863Hi Faye,
It seems to be there in source code. Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it? :)
Best regards,
