We are at 3.1.3 and multiple attempts to update to 3.1.5 have failed. Please advise the steps to understand and correct what is going on.

Try completely deleting the theme and then download + upload a fresh copy from themeforest via FTP, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.

Thanks for your reply. This is a live and busy site. If I do as you suggest, will I lose all my site settings? I am using Enfold Child as a child theme.
