Hello. I have updated my theme to 4.5.7 and clicked “multi author blog (displays Gravatar of the article author beside the entry and feature images above.). Unfortunately this is not working on the site. I would like it to look like the following page: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/blog-multi-author/ .
At the moment it is showing an icon not the gravatar and this is above the featured image and not to the left side.
Please can you help. Thanks
June 3, 2019 at 12:23 pm #1106671Can I add that the gravatar shows in Safari and Chrome above the post. It only shows on roll over in Firefox.
June 4, 2019 at 4:33 am #1106906Hi,
Thanks for the link, though I can’t see any difference when comparing between Chrome and Firefox. There is a gravatar image showing on most of the posts, a man in front of a brick wall. How can we reproduce the error you are getting?
Best regards,
RikardJune 4, 2019 at 9:41 am #1106948Let me check first if this is a cache issue (it was in the past but its returned…) In the mean time how do I get it to looking like this: I would like it to look like the following page: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/blog-multi-author/ .With the gravatar at the side. Thanks
June 4, 2019 at 11:09 am #1106987Hello I have cleared my cache and still getting the same issues with an icon showing in FIREFOX rather than the gravatar . I have included screen grab in the Private content. The image (and info) shows on rollover. Equally is it necessary to have the link to the Gravatar profile – I would rather it not link to anything. I would rather just have the image showing at all times with no link. Thanks
June 4, 2019 at 7:17 pm #1107239Hi KateStuartDesign,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

June 5, 2019 at 1:38 pm #1107548Hi KateStuartDesign,
Thank you.
Actually, this is a custom built page with a color section on top and blog posts element under it, not the one set in the theme options. You can try building a page like this too.

VictoriaJune 5, 2019 at 1:45 pm #1107552So you don’t have a blog posts option to have the gravatar on the left of the post as per your layout online?
June 9, 2019 at 4:42 pm #1108610Hi,
You can build the page like that, by using the ALB.

Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?

VictoriaSeptember 28, 2020 at 6:54 pm #1249120Hi Victoria thanks for checking. I figured it out. Basically I needed to match the email address in WordPress for each User with the emails in Gravatar profiles for it to populate the profile pics for multi author blogging. So I’m good and this can be closed thanks so much!
