    hi guys as title suggests is the new version of enfold fixed the issue of video mp4 backgrounds loadining in safari as they don’t appear to load with current version?

    I have seen that mp4 background works fine with revolution slider in safari so I know Safari supports mp4 video background

    Hey codecreative,

    It’s not a Safari issue, mp4 loads fine in Safari, it’s the combination of the latest WordPress media player and Enfold that have the issue. It has not been resolved yet. Our devs are still working on it.

    Hi ah okay thank you for this useful feedback

    I’ve seen in the change log there is a mention of a fix on this….

    It says I. 4.2.2

    “fixed: any issue with videos in WordPress 4.9“

    Is this related to it? If not no problem it’s great to know that it’s being looked at… I have noticed that as a work around an mp4 will work on enfold if it is used via revolution slider

    Hi,

    That particular patch is for the video size and it has nothing to do with the current safari issue. Our developers are still working on it.
