    I found how to do this on another theme but no solution for this for enfold. I’d simply like to place the little search magnifying glass just like it is in the main_menu only on the right of the sub_menu.

    Hi Raleigh!

    You can try modifying the avia_append_search_nav function located in line 53, functions-enfold.php.

    You’d need to apply the filter to a specific submenu.

    Thanks Josue for the help – I see that in the file. Do you have any suggestions or guidance on how to apply it to the theme’s sub_menu?

    Hey!

    I investigated this and realized that the wp_nav_menu_items filter may not be able you to target a children menu item, maybe there is another WP filter out there.

    To be honest i think it would be better to contact an specialist, it’s not a big thing, we are half way there.

    Hmmm OK I’ll keep searching/testing how I can get the search up in the top sub_menu and I’ll post it here when I get it working. Thanks – Raleigh
