we found the solution for our needs in this thread:

We try to make the adjustmenst in the child folder.
It works still fine on register-widget-area.php
but not effect within register-admin-options.phpAny hint?

you would need to write a custom code inside your child’s functions.php for it. If you need help with it then you can hire a freelance developer for this job.
