    Hey guys,
I recently put a button onto my companies website, and am having issues trying to get it to work as a modal popup.

I’ve tried tutorials, other forum threads etc. But every response seems to be unique to a specific website.

What I am trying to do is apply a modal popup to a button so that when people click it, a contact form 7 form pops up asking them to supply their email address with a captcha so that we can generate an understanding of which companies are downloading our papers, and who is doing so.

I am out of options, and really frustrated, as I am not a developer and know very little in terms of coding (Thus I thought using wordpress and a theme would be simpler :P)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

You might simply use plugin build just for that purpose like https://popup-builder.com/

Tried it, I can’t get it to work the way I want to. I’ve tried a ton of plugins, including using several in unison to get the desired result. Still won’t work.

As I said, I am not the most tech savvy person :P

Than you would need to hire a developer

Yeah, as a last resort I will do that. I am sure the support staff here can provide me with a simple solution however, they are pretty great at what they do :P

    Hi Yigit

I had exactly that issue but couldn’t make it work.

(request obsolete, I deleted my text)

P.S.: To put the functionality of a customizable popup in Enfold (for example under “media elements”) would be very appreciate!!! Not the first time I’m in need of this function…

    Hi,

Please try the solution that we provided in the following thread.

    // https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-in-pop-up-prettyphoto-issue/#post-304173

In the “CONTENT PLACEHOLDER”, add the CF7 shortcode.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
