Tagged: mobile view
Hello all,
I have selected the Photography Portfolio. If I reduce the smartphone view to 50%, then the desktop view is visible. At 75%, the mobile view is shown again.
Is there a way to set it so that the mobile view is visible every time the page is reduced on the smartphone?
Thanks for help
Mick
Hey mickhb,
Thank you for the inquiry.
This is possible, but please note that making such modifications is beyond the scope of support. By default, the theme is designed to respond and switch to mobile/tablet mode when the screen width is less than 989px. When you zoom out to 50%, you are effectively increasing the visible width of the screen, causing the theme to switch the layout back to the desktop mode.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance within the scope of support, please feel free to let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi Ismael,
Thank you very much for your answer.
I also find it a bit strange. Who puts mobile the view so small? But the one who owns the page has complained about it.
I have already found some documents in the theme which contain 989px.
How many pixels would I need to expand it to and what files would I need to touch?
I know that every time I update the theme I would have to change it again.
Thanks for help
Mick
Hi,
I don’t think that you will find this an easy task, 989px is in the theme 409 times in 83 files, you would also need to change the 767px which is 774 times in 140 files.
Try using VS Code and open your theme folder with in on your desktop you can then search all of the files at the same time.
Best regards,
Mike
