Hey again,
I’ve gotten to a point where the website is pretty much finished, but I’m having a slight problem with the mobile version for some reason.
Despite having everything set up the same way (both as far as I remember and as far as I can see), only half of the page shows up properly on the mobile version. Any ideas?
FYI: The mobile version of our site isn’t much of a focus, since over 99% of our visitors are on computers, but the bossman wants the mobile site to be functional, at least, so that’s what bossman gets.
September 3, 2015 at 10:48 pm #498040Hi riberusa!
have you added any custom CSS to the theme, that could brake that down?
Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 3, 2015 at 11:34 pm #498058I wouldn’t think so, but I did add some custom CSS to my child theme’s style.css file. I’ve only got basic knowledge of css, so I very well could have broken something on accident.
I should say that it only stops working *halfway* down the page. The top half is fine, for some reason.
September 5, 2015 at 5:44 am #498650Hi,
Not sure what’s going on there, could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardSeptember 8, 2015 at 6:39 pm #500059I should add that the desktop version of the site does the same thing (at a slightly different location) if I try to use the advanced styling tab instead of adding CSS to the custom CSS box or the actual .css files.
September 9, 2015 at 1:13 pm #500368Hey!
I can’t see any issue on mobile, because all content is showing up for me. Could you fix it? Try to deactivate all plugins to check if one is making problems.
Regards,
AndySeptember 9, 2015 at 7:04 pm #500689Hey Andy,
I never had an issue with the content showing up. I’ve had issues with content being formatted correctly, though.
This is what I’m talking about. The item on the top is responding to being viewed on a mobile device, whereas the stuff on the bottom isn’t.
(you can also duplicate what I’m talking about on desktop, if you make the window narrow enough.)As for plugins, I did deactivate them, but nothing changed.
September 11, 2015 at 1:12 pm #501595Hey!
on your frontpage I build a new color section with a new portfolio grid and it worked fine for me on mobile. So please delete your existing portfolio grid and rebuild it.
Cheers!
AndySeptember 11, 2015 at 6:20 pm #501845…I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. The top half of the page displays things normally. The bottom half does not.
If you visit the page on mobile, and scroll all the way down to the bottom, you’ll see that the formatting changes. The top half is “mobile friendly”, and the bottom is not.
I would like to know why it is changing half-way down the page.
(I should add that I’ve deleted and rebuilt the portfolio grids on this page before. It hasn’t worked.)
September 14, 2015 at 3:39 pm #502827Hi!
I did understand what you were saying and I can see the issue on your frontpage. However, I can’t reproduce it on my end. It simply does not happen for me. So something must cause it on your end. Could be 1000 different things. I tried to create a new portfolio grid on your frontpage, which works fine on mobile. That is why I suggested to delete the ones in question and rebuild them. Click on “Save changes” after deleting them and before rebuilding them.
Best regards,
AndySeptember 14, 2015 at 10:06 pm #503029That…is really odd, since my company’s CEO saw it and complained about it (and he’s in a completely different country). I was able to replicate the issue everywhere…Firefox, Chrome, you name it. What browser were you using?
I’ll try making the front page from scratch a second time, I suppose. :/
September 14, 2015 at 10:38 pm #503054I literally did everything the EXACT SAME WAY, and now, it seems to be working. I feel really stupid. Yay!
Thanks for your help, Andy.
