Visit http://www.buzinga.com.au on a mobile device and you will see the text at the bottom is all out of Whack. When I’m in the slider dashboard configuring it the items on the screen don’t align. It’s all really buggy.
February 6, 2014 at 3:44 am #220230Hey Logan!
Could you please elaborate? what text are you referring to exactly?
Best regards,
JosueFebruary 20, 2014 at 12:58 pm #226713Hi Josue,
In the Avia Dynamic Slider, the HTML txt reacts strangely. For example, visit http://www.buzinga.com.au and view the first page that comes up. See the text (HTML). In the Avia Dynamic Slider setup this text is left aligned. The button is center-aligned and the bottom text (“Or scroll down and get to know us better first”) is left aligned and simply doesn’t optimised for the smaller screen sizes. It appears OK on desktop view but doesn’t look right on iPhones, etc.
What can I do to fix this?
LoganFebruary 20, 2014 at 3:24 pm #226807February 22, 2014 at 3:53 am #227804I’ve had to change the text under ‘get a quote’ to a static image because it was larger than the header text above.
Nevermind that for the moment. I’d really like to know how I can enlarge the Header text for this theme. All font as so small, I’d really like something that is 5-7 times bigger.
February 22, 2014 at 5:56 am #227829Hey!
The only text in the header would be the phone info which can be increased in size with:
#top .phone-info { font-size: 15px; }
Cheers!
DevinMarch 13, 2014 at 12:09 pm #236837I’m still having problems with the mobile responsive design. It doesn’t really work properly in portrait mode. I’ve got images in the slider at the top that aren’t minimising to the size of the screen. It looks whack on mobile phones, at least in portrait view.
Any way to fix this?
Cheers,
LoganMarch 14, 2014 at 5:47 am #237390The content inside the LayerSlider slides doesn’t automatically adjust perfectly for all screen sizes. It adjusts in proportion to the overall layout but not in a way that would allow the background image to not get cropped on the edges for all displays.
You would need to pull the text off the background image and make it an element in the slideshow to prevent it from ever getting cropped.
March 14, 2014 at 5:54 am #237393Hi Devin,
It’s already NOT part of the background image. If you spent some time looking at it before responding you would have seen that. Please assume that all elements are not fixed to the background image but indeed work as separate elements within the slider.
Now you will see that the responsive function does NOT work for the slider.
How can this be fixed?

March 14, 2014 at 7:43 am #237421On elements which are getting cut off you could add in additional css to change their width with media queries if LayerSliders automated adjustments aren’t working for you. But generally it shouldn’t need to be done since you can adjust their placement within the slide so that they aren’t cut off. In your case decreasing the size a bit should help.
Looking at your site just now again I see that you are using an old version of the theme and that there is a javascript error coming up with the LayerSlider code which could also be contributing to the issues. The most recent update, 2.6.1, which came out this past week updated LayerSlider to the newest version which re-did and updated a lot of how the plugin works
March 15, 2014 at 2:04 am #237883Ok cool, the update could help. How do I go about downloading it? It says that I’m running the latest theme update already – and Envato/themeforest have dropped support for updates in my account.
What would you recommend?
March 15, 2014 at 2:34 am #237887For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
March 15, 2014 at 3:40 am #237898The question was ‘How do I go about DOWNLOADING it?’ You have answered ‘How do I go about UPLOADING it’. That’s different. In order to upload it I need to have the new theme version first. As I explained in my last comment, I haven’t got access to it at this stage. Can you send it to me?
March 15, 2014 at 4:11 am #237903We can’t, if you have issues with your Envato account, try contacting them.
Cheers!
