Hi There
On our page (priv. link) the mobile menue disappeard. Not only in the front end but also under enfold -> header in the backend the mobile header / menue option is no longer available. I deactivated all the plugins with no effect.
Any idea how we can fix that.
Thanks

RikardAugust 18, 2017 at 11:45 am #840827Hi There,
Thanks – details in the private section.
Just installed a new downloaded zip file on a test domain (same host) to check what happens. Same problem, looks like I got this problem for all installations that are 4.1. above.
Thanks for checking. Could you maybe send me a version 4.0.7 or so so I could check if the problem disappears with this version?
thanks

Yes, maybe rolling back would be the first thing to check if it works. Please see private.

RikardAugust 20, 2017 at 8:40 pm #841752Hey Rikard,
Many thanks. This version still works. However this is only a half satisfying solution. Can we fix it with the current version? If we need to keep the older version for now, how can I manage it to keep the child theme cause now I had to change the name of the theme (because obviously I cannot upload 2 themes with the same name) and the child is no longer working (but necessary due to some modification).
thanks
mauriceAugust 21, 2017 at 6:27 am #841850Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I know the situation is not optimal, but I would recommend that you keep using 4.0.7 until we release a new version of the theme. I’m not sure what you mean about your child theme though, you could simply delete 4.1.2 and upload 4.0.7, then leave your child theme as is. Could you try that please?
Best regards,
RikardAugust 21, 2017 at 9:36 am #841920Hi Rikard,
I am just not exactly sure how I should do it to make sure the website is not getting any problems because of the name conflict of the themes. So to explain. I have now the new version of enfold uploaded under the name “enfold”(the child theme is conected to this name, right?). If I upload the old version I need to change the name for the old one to “enfoldxyz” because of the name conflict (WP does not allow the same name for two themes). So I wonder, can I then activate the old plugin, delete the new version of the theme, and then change the name of the “enfoldxyz” (old version) to “enfold” via FTP and this would work?
Or what would you recommend?
mauriceAugust 23, 2017 at 6:37 pm #843214Hi,
Yes, that could work properly!
But – always to make sure as it is a tricky work ( I have done it also multiple times and well, some times u mess with the names :D ) try keep a backup
It is really useful!Best regards,

Just wanted to come back to this discussion and ask if you solved this problem with the newest Version 4.2.6.
Thanks for your response.
