OK – I’m missing sometyhing obvious here but …
I have top level (parent pages) with child pages under them.
The mobile menu behaviour seems to make it impossible to access parent pages as it opens the submenu so you can’t link through.
Thanks.
August 9, 2015 at 12:41 pm #484895Hi – wonder if I can get feedback on this.
If the mobile menu does not allow you to click through to parent pages going to have to rethink structure / look at alternative menu options.
Thanks.
August 10, 2015 at 11:12 am #485158Hey,
Please make sure the Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items is not activated under Enfold–>Header–>Mobile Menu.

RikardAugust 16, 2015 at 12:59 pm #488360OK – thanks – would be far better to have a + / – icon that expands the submenu though as basically this means any site with submenus has to have a non collapsing mobile menu which = usability nightmare on substantial sites.

feel free to make a feature request here: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

AndyAugust 17, 2015 at 1:59 pm #488906Have added this to suggestions:
————————-
Mobile menu with clickable parent and expanding / contracting submenus
Currently if you have sub menu items you have to deactivate Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items under Enfold–>Header–>Mobile Menu as enabling it makes the parent page inaccessible – clicking it just opens the submenu instead.
As a result sites larger than a few pages in the submenu end up with a sprawling virtually unusalble always open menu rather than user friendly expanding / contracting submenus.
It would be far better to have a + / – icon on the right that expands/contracts the submenu leaving the parent item clickable making it viable for sites with more than a couple of sub pages.
Unfortunately as the voting community here are not necessarily devs suspect it may not receive the attention I think it deserves given the benefits to usability on larger sites it would provide and may just get buried.

Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback and for submitting the feature request, much appreciated :-)

RikardAugust 18, 2015 at 11:09 am #489373No problem – I think this is quite a serious flaw and was more than a little surprised to find the mobile menu behaving this way – forcing me to look to ubermenu again.
August 19, 2015 at 8:37 am #489861Hi,
Thanks again, I’m sure this functionality will be implemented in a future release.
